Connecting Global Innovation with Local Impact at the EESA Summit 2026

On 13 and 14 October 2026, EcoSourcen joined the EESA Summit in Brussels as the local partner of Sunwoda, one of the event’s Platinum Sponsors. Bringing together leading energy storage stakeholders from Europe and Asia, the summit provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and business development.
Day 1: Discussing Europe’s Energy Storage Future
The first day focused on market developments, technology trends, and the growing role of energy storage in Europe’s energy transition.
Our CTO, Floris Bosteels, participated in a panel discussion on the evolving European energy storage market, sharing insights on the importance of combining advanced technology with strong local project expertise. As the market continues to mature, successful projects increasingly depend on trusted partnerships that can bridge global innovation with local execution.
For EcoSourcen and Sunwoda, this approach forms the foundation of our collaboration, combining proven BESS technology with local market knowledge to deliver reliable energy storage solutions in Belgium.

Day 2: Visiting the Deinze BESS Project
On the second day, summit attendees visited several energy storage sites across Belgium, including the 10MW / 55MWh battery energy storage project in Deinze, developed through the collaboration between Sunwoda and EcoSourcen.
The site visit offered participants a firsthand look at the installation and provided an opportunity to exchange insights on project development, delivery, and operation within the Belgian market. More importantly, it demonstrated how international cooperation can be translated into tangible energy infrastructure projects.

Looking ahead
The EESA Summit was more than an industry event. It highlighted the value of cross-border collaboration in accelerating the deployment of energy storage across Europe.
We would like to thank EESA and CIOC Energy for the excellent organization, and Sunwoda for their continued partnership. We look forward to building on the connections, discussions, and opportunities created during these two inspiring days and turning them into future energy storage projects.
Together, we are helping shape a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
